Problem:
On a limited number of 2015 Sea-Doo models, upon connecting the PWC to BUDS 3.6.1, a warning message window may appear that states:
If the technician clicks YES, a new window will appear that states:
If the model number is entered in correct format (Ex. 00030FE00) the same error message repeats and requests the technician to enter the model number once again.
At this point, if the technician decides to select "cancel" instead, the window may disappear and allow the technician to proceed on to tasks such as key programming. The machine may even start and run, but the error message will repeat if BUDS re-reads data.

Problem:

validate the model number. Do you want to update it
now?
If the technician clicks YES, a new window will appear that states:
BUDS
cannot determine the type of vehicle you are connected to because the vehicle
model mismatch with the diagnostic code bytes. Enter the appropriate model
number in the edit box below according to the following diagnostic code:
00850300.

Solution:
Use the latest BUDS version - 3.6.2. The model table in the BUDS software is updated to include the missing models.
